Banglalink customers can now collect a “backup sim” against their number beforehand, in case their current sim is lost or damaged!
- Customers will be able to collect a backup replacement sim against their mobile number from banglalink customer care, banglalink point and banglalink service points.
- After collection of backup sim customer needs to dial *177# (free) and generate the secret pin from his/her current sim.
- To activate the backup sim they can dial *177# from any banglalink number then enter the mobile number followed by pin and finally the last 3 digits of the backup sim serial number.
- Once the backup sim is activated the earlier sim will automatically become deactivated and customer can continue to use the backup sim without any delay or hassle.
- Backup sim taken against one msisdn cannot be activated to any other msisdn except the assigned one.
- Current sim replacement verification process and fees will be applicable for backup sim collection.
- This service will remain effective until further notice.
